King's Kids Spring Musical
King's Kids, a musical/drama group of children in K- grade 5 will present their spring musical "God's Plan for Salvation" Sunday evening, May 16 at 6 p.m. "Buckle your seat belts for a fun-filled, inspirational ride on the Holy Highway with the GPS (God’s Plan of Salvation) as your guide. A high-energy kids’ musical packed with humor, creativity and above all, spiritual truth. Musical numbers include "The Ride Of Our Lives" • "GPS" • "The Rules Of The Road" • "Ten!" • "Fuel" • "Modern Day Idolatry" • "Psalm 1:1" • "Treasure Of You" • "I Don’t Want To Go" • "You Are The Way!". Directors Dave and Kristen Ciampa and the cast invite the public to join us for this special presentation. A fellowship time will follow the service.
Cast Members are:
Tyler Briggs – Tyler is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. Tyler’s favorite part of church is playing the drums in the worship team. His favorite part of Kings Kids is sharing what we did during the week with the group. Tyler has been in 6 Kings Kids productions, & his favorite so far is GPS! Tyler’s favorite subject in school is art. His favorite movies are Spiderman & Hulk, and his favorite books are the Harry Potter series.
Christopher Newcomb – Chris is 10 years old, and in the 5th grade. His favorite part of coming to church is singing, and he also loves to sing in Kings Kids. He is the oldest member of Kings Kids and has been in 8 Kings Kids productions. His favorite book is the “39 Clues” series and his favorite subject in school is Art
Nicole Newcomb – Nikki is 7 years old & in the 1st grade. Her favorite part about coming to church is singing& her favorite part of Kings Kids is doing motions and dance moves! She has been in 5 Kings Kids productions, & her favorite was The Best Christmas Present Ever. Nikki’s favorite book is ”Green Eggs and Ham” & her favorite movie is 8 Below.
Aaron Petry – Aaron is 6 years old & in the 1st grade. Aaron’s favorite part of church is singing & he also loves singing at King’s Kids. GPS is Aaron’s second production with King’s Kids and it is his favorite so far. His favorite book is “The Gingerbread Man” and his favorite movie is Finding Nemo.
Allie Petry – Allie is 6 years old & in the 1st grade. Allie’s favorite part of coming to church is singing during worship, & her favorite part of Kings Kids is doing the dance moves. This is Allie’s second production with Kings Kids & GPS is her favorite show so far. Allie’s favorite book is “If you Give a Pig a Pancake” & her favorite movie is Snow White. Reading Workshop is Allie’s favorite subject in school.
Ella Toppen – Ella is 7 years old & in the 1st grade. Ella loves singing in church &in King’s Kids. GPS is Ella’s second production with Kings Kids, but she also enjoyed her first production The Best Christmas Present Ever. Ella’s favorite book is “Fancy Nancy” and her favorite subject in school is Writers Workshop.
Molly Brothers – Molly’s age is undisclosed!! Her favorite part of coming to church is the kids. Her favorite part about King’s Kids is Kristin & Dave & their energy & experience. This is her first Kings Kids production and her favorite. Molly’s favorite book is The Bible.
Communion Service
Please join us for a celebration of the Lord’s Supper the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. Adult Study groups will not meet. Children’s activities will meet as scheduled.
CYA Gathering
College and Young Adults Gatherings take place each month for food and activities 4 - 6 p.m.
Youth Events
Youth events, gatherings, outing and celebrations are held regularly for youth in grades 6- 12 to connect with other youth. Bible Study, worship, small groups, retreats, service projects and parent events are provided for youth to learn and grow in their relationship with Christ.
